Macro "ManDown" Hall Jr. was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 29th, 1994. As a young boy ManDown enjoyed the thrill and rush fighting had to offer and quickly picked up boxing as a hobby; often taking on guys that were older and larger than he was.
At the age of twelve Macro expressed to his grandfather and now manager, Lessie Hall, his desire to take boxing seriously and to the next level. They were introduced to Duran Flowers of Flowers Power Boxing who introduced him to his trainer Donnie Young and there was no turning back after that.
Hall has had the pleasure of sparring with some talented men including ABF USA Super Middleweight Champion Lanell Bellows, Heavy Weight Grover Young, and veteran Fatal Freddy Ladd.
Hall has an extensive and impressive amateur career with a record of 42-2-0 and he is also a 5x recipient of the Mississippi Golden Gloves, winning each year he has attended. He had a 4 year streak starting in 2013 and won again recently in 2018 before victoriously turning pro winning by TKO on July, 21st 2018 in his home town.
